Let the adventure begin

I am heading out to Venice on the Gulf in Florida. The plane southwest.com had a three-hour delay so I got a $100 voucher. Not bad considering I got additional time to work while still at home. But, now I am ready to have some fun in the tropics.

This is my fifth writer’s retreat in Florida. I usually go in March when the weather’s better.
I use my stay to write, take pictures and to talk to fishermen and artists. I spend most of my time on Casperson Beach near Sharky’s. In the morning I do Yoga on the Beach with Elin. Then I stroll from one beach to another for two miles which is almost like my daily walk to the Franciscan Life Process Center.

I love Venice and the surrounding area because it is not developed with high-rise hotels.
It’s my paradise waiting to be explored.
