Lowell, MI – For healthy living and healthy lifestyles start with small changes in life right at the beginning of the new year or at any time. Drop out snacks or change them for healthy ones such as nuts. Eliminate all pop including diet pop. You can substitute pop with tea infusions, cold or hot.
Eat only when you are hungry not to fight off stress, depression or insomnia. Limit alcohol drinks to one a day.
Calories do count. Count them. If you want to lose weight, you have to drop calorie consumption to 1,000 calories a day. Throw out all high sugar cereal, white toasts, white sugar and white flour. Substitute with everything brown including rice.
Add movement. Any movement is better than none at all. Set a certain time to exercise. Do cardio and strength training. You can start out by walking in your area. You do not have to go to the gym to be fit.
Talk to a person who has experienced life changes in a small or a big way.
