Winter superfoods help protect from illnesses
This winter is especially rough with the flu and the bad vaccine that doesn’t work. So, the superfoods are important.
One of my favorites other than avocados and red beets is butternut squash.
Here is a recipe for butternut squash bisque.
1 butternut squash
4 cups of vegetable broth
Half and half (optional)
Boil the squash until soft for approximately 40 minutes. Remove the skin and mix in blender. Put mixture in the broth and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Add nutmeg and desired spices.
Eat with croutons or bread or both.
