Getting ready for writer’s retreat in Jaco

As the snow of the last few weeks thaws and we traditionally celebrate Christmas Day II, that is the Feast of Saint Stephan, my thoughts turn to Costa Rica.

The orchid collection on my studio windowsill will bloom any minute. I am looking forward to taking pictures of orchids in the rain forests of Costa Rica.
