Festival of Pop Culture in Traverse City
Traverse City, MI – Bookbroker’s & Kramer’s Cafe is hosting the first annual Festival of Collectibles in the Grand Traverse Mall on July 28 from noon until 6 p.m. The event includes everything great about Movies , TV and Pop Culture paraphernalia – artists, photographers, crafters, collectors, authors, cos- play, sci- fi aficionados, special guests, and maybe even a superhero or two!
I will be joining this event at the Grand Traverse Mall located at 3200 West South Airport Rd. with my new book “Secrets” from the Shifting Sands Short Stories collection along with other Michigan authors.
Our new marketing strategy is a collaborative effort to support Michigan authors in multiple author events around the state. These events feature multiple genres like in a bookstore or at a library.
Michigan authors were represented at the Lakeshore Art Festival in Muskegon on July 5th and 6th and at BooksAlive in Ludington on July 19.
These events offer exposure to authors in different locations around the state of Michigan. The variety is infinite like the stars in the sky.
I will provide a full list of participating authors as soon as I can get it.
The ones I know of are:
Joan H. Young, Darla Jean Davis and Dan MacDougall. Stay tuned for more info about authors.
